"Moving forward towards excellence is teamwork with your family, colleagues and friends. Nobody can do it alone."

About me

Picture this: I'm the guy who gets called in when the complex project is floundering. Why? I ask, "For what?" Like that Mexican fisherman lounging on the beach, I cut to the chase. My colleagues sometimes roll their eyes. They want me to churn out code, features, reports... but I understand that speed without the right direction is wasted energy.

See, I have this blend of ADHD and dyslexia... it's my secret sauce. My brain buzzes with questions, it sees the connections others miss. I get antsy when things get convoluted, which sparks those flashes of simple genius that actually solve the problem. That's how I've managed to take on those impossible projects, and transform them into streamlined successes.

Sure, I wasn't the sleekest interview. But those who saw past the surface? They ended up reaping the benefits. I brought fresh perspectives, I fixed the tangled processes, I delivered the results that mattered.

I'm an Agile Leader and Innovator. I love driving Impact and value with Scrum and Data-Driven Strategy.

With over 20 years of experience in Agile Project Management and Technology, I've been transforming the delivery and execution of one of the largest platforms at EY, leveraging expertise in SAFe Scrum, Agile Coaching, Cloud, Data Science, and Cybersecurity. As a Scrum Master, Release Train Engineer and Delivery Leader, I've been spearheading the delivery office, formulating delivery guidelines, and driving a data-driven strategy for both software and infrastructure products.

In addition to this current role, I've been leading the Agile Community of Practice and the Upskilling and Reskilling Community of Practice at EY, providing vision and strategy, sharing our community's knowledge and good practices with other Agile enthusiasts and professionals.

In previous experience as Digital, Data and Innovation Leader, I've also been involved in several data, AI and IoT laboratories delivering MVPs with $5M budget per year, producing initiatives saving between 10 to $50M, and creating revenue streams for more than $10M,

My passion for innovation and excellence brought recognitions with multiple awards, such as the Innovation Trophy at ENGIE in 2019, IoT Project of the Year 2018, Private Cloud Infrastructure Awards 2016 with the Hyper-cross connection and the Cybersecurity Awards 2017. I have also completed a MBA degree oriented to Technology and Artificial Intelligence from Hult International Business School, funded by EY, expanding my business acumen and leadership skills.

My profile is highlighted by these 3 categories

Technology Research

Bridging the gap between R&D and software delivery; with expertise in AI, data science, IoT and agile methodologies for rapid innovation. I created tools and initiatives that highlighted problem-solving and ownership mindsets, valuable in fast-paced environments.

Delivery Expertise

My recent roles as Project Manager, Product Manager, Scrum Master, Release Train Engineer and Delivery Director signify a strong command of complex software development lifecycles. Emphasize success in agile environments, especially scaling frameworks like SAFe.

Process Optimization

I applied the SMED technique to architect an agile software release process that establishes a sustainable release cadence. This significantly reduces uncertainty for stakeholders and fosters a culture of honoring commitments. By optimizing transitions, eliminating waste, and ensuring predictability, my approach drives consistent delivery and enables rapid response to market demands.  Key benefits include:

Tools I use to make the magic

When it comes to AI and Data, depending on the project to develop if it is an MVP, a final product, or researching, I always finish selecting the same group of tools: OpenAI, Hugging Face, Azure, CoLab among others.

Successfully managing a Product or Project requires flexibility, leadership, telemetry, Project Management Methodologies, and a lot of negotiation and communication.

With IoT, I usually prototype first with low cost using Tinkercad and/or Arduino and for Backend, Blynk and Azure IoT Hub.
