I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Universidade de São Paulo (USP). 

My research lies at the intersection of economic history and development economics, with a particular focus on how infrastructure, technology adoption, and education shaped Brazil’s economic transformation in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
