Kinesthesia may be best described as the ability to sense motion in a joint or a limb. It starts to be measured at the smallest change in a joint angle that creates conscious awareness of that movement.
This sensation inputs information to your child's mind that their body is moving, providing critical information about themselves.
Kinesthesia assists your child in participating in actions with effective motor planning, along with appropriate motor responses and actions.
