My name is Debra Kusnierek and I am a third year occupational therapy doctorate student at Huntington University. Throughout my fieldwork expierence, I had the opportunity to work at a pediatric clinic which specialized in sensory integration and have spent the last months researching this area of OT. As an undergrad, I recieved my bachelors in Environmental Science at California Lutheran University. I spent my childhood growing up and learning from the world around me. My goal in this project is to open a door into the immense benefits of childhood development in the outdoors.

This website along with other educational handouts have accumulated into my capstone project. The process of creating this website has been one of my utmost accomplishments in my role as a student, as I had the chance to researched the influence of outdoor education on sensory development in the pediatric population.
