What we are looking for:
We welcome case studies from all over the world that align with the core philosophy of pearls. Ideally, your urban river project should address one or more of the following criteria:
People-Centred Approaches: Projects that actively engage local communities and enhance collective or individual resilience through public spaces along urban rivers.
Integrated Solutions: Initiatives that successfully merge Nature-Based Solutions (ecological restoration, flood mitigation etc.) with Socially-Based Solutions (community spaces, accessibility, cultural heritage etc.).
Trans-disciplinary Cooperation: Projects that demonstrate effective collaboration between different stakeholders like local citizens, grassroots initiatives, academic institutions, governance bodies, ...
Policy & Learning Impact: Projects that offer valuable lessons for innovative learning or help identify mutually reinforcing social and environmental policies.
