Ellen de Vibe

Ellen de Vibe is a Norwegian architect and urban planner, and has been head of urban planning in Oslo since 1998. De Vibe graduated from the University of Wales with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture in 1973, a Bachelor of Architecture in 1975 and a Master of Science in Town Planning in 1977. She has worked as Head of Building and Zoning in Alta, Head of Town Planning in Skien, Head of Department in the Ministry of the Environment and Head of the Norwegian National Building Code Committee. In November 1998, she was appointed head of the Planning and Building Department in Oslo. Today, she is a consultant, strategic advisor and public speaker on urban planning and development for Urban Vibes.
