PEAK PLANS

PEAK Plans are curated specialized academic instruction created during the consultation process. 📚

PEAK Plans are specifically designed to address the unique needs of students with learning disabilities such as Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, ADHD, and Auditory Processing Disorder (APD) or developmental conditions like Autism.

Our strategies are evidence-based and include:

Multi-sensory instruction for reading and writing challenges.
Manipulatives and visual aids for math difficulties.
Structured environments and executive function coaching for attention and organizational needs.
Visual supports and preferential seating for auditory processing.

PEAK Plans will offer students a clear checklist on what goals they should be working to achieve in the next 12 weeks. Plans will be the basis of what they do during tutoring sessions. PEAK offers small group and individualized tutoring sessions, available Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays.

By providing these targeted interventions, we can help students improve their reading fluency, writing clarity, mathematical understanding, and overall academic confidence. With the help of PEAK, studenst willl reach the outlined goals on their I.E.P.

Small Groups for Academics

Social development is just as important as cognitive development. At PEAK, we believe in the full development of the child. PEAK students will also have the oppurtunity to engage in a plethora of different recreational activities curated to boost social development within students with disabilities called, PEAK Pointers.

It does not matter the disability, we aim to highlight ability. By exposing studdents to different hobbies, skills and real-world situations, PEAK students will be ready to take on the world!

Outdoor Adventures

PEAK Pointers are events designed to foster social-emotional growth, build life skills, and provide fun, hands-on experiences. Community events are icnclusive to the whole community, which allows fellowship between all walks of life.

Field Trips: Opportunities to explore local museums, libraries, trade schools, nature centers, aquariums, and zoos, broadening horizons and connecting learning to the real world. This can introduce students to vocational options, directly supporting career readiness initiatives.
Team Sports
Life Skills: Themed cooking classes promote practical skills and teamwork.

Students with disabilities are in need of recreational activities that prepare them for the real world.PEAK will like to build able and self sufficient adults, ready to tackle the world! In the future, we hope to hold mock interview sessions, trips to vocational training centers and sports tournaments open to both parents and students.

Well-being: Yoga and mindfulness sessions help with stress reduction and focus.
Creativity and Teamwork: Creative arts workshops and team sports encourage self-expression and social development.

These activities offer a well-rounded experience, promoting holistic development and creating a positive, inclusive community for our students.
