The Origin

Seas of the east, west, north and south, lands of eight directions(east, west, south, north, northeast, so on), collide into the whole world. Legend has it, in the southern mountains, there exists a place called Qingqiu, haven of the Nine-Tailed Foxes. A place full of monumental trees that touch the sky where winding rivers surround the lands and fade into the skyline. In the western mountains, the mysterious creature Hundun lives in the Tian Mountain where it is shrouded by clouds and haze. Beneath all that fogginess, the mountain glitters with the abundance of minerals and jades. Back to the southern region, a tree named Wutong already has existed here for thousands of years, and has also peered into the vicissitudes of life. The Phoenixes chose the tree as their habitation.

At the intersection of the western and southern mountains, there is a village that is swarming with peach trees. In here, the weather is warm like spring all year long, and the peach blossoms never wither. When the breeze escapes the valley and travels through the village, carrying the fragrance of peach blossoms, the atmosphere of the region would be brimming with sweetness and serenity. A little stream runs through the town. The crystal water of the brook is interspersed by little peach blossom petals. The tinkling sound of water droplets resounds here all the time. Passengers habitually called the village The Peach Blossom Paradise.

A Nine-Tailed Fox named Qianxue Ke (Qianxue means snowflakes in Chinese) can transform into a gorgeous lady. She traveled to the paradise and met a scholar who wore a turquoise gown.

Meanwhile, a Hundun named Jingqing Qi (Jingqing means serenity) also traveled to the paradise. As one of the wicked and wild creatures, he hated the celebrated serenity in the paradise, and he wanted to destroy the peace here.

Later, a Phoenix named Xingru Feng (Xingru means star-like) found a beautiful place full of peach blossoms. She decided to stay here for a period. In legend, Phoenixes have the ability to bring people back from the dead. Would she use her power to help the citizens in the paradise?
