Hands at Work: Amplifying Goodness
DECEMBER 12, 2025
Laughter echoed through the halls of the Reception and Study Center for Children in Tantangan, South Cotabato on December 12, 2025, as young faces lit up with excitement and curiosity. What began as an ordinary day quickly turned extraordinary with the arrival of HAW-AG (Hands at Work Amplifying Goodness), an outreach initiative of the Project Development and Management Unit (PDMU) XII aimed at extending compassion beyond the workplace and into the community.
The program reached out to orphans and children with special needs, offering not only material assistance but also moments of joy and genuine human connection. Gifts, food packs, daily essentials, bicycles, and toys were distributed, each item carefully chosen to bring comfort and spark happiness among the children. More than the generosity of the goods, it was the warmth behind every gesture that made the day truly meaningful. Through shared smiles, simple conversations, and heartfelt interactions, the outreach created an atmosphere of inclusion and care, reinforcing the value of kindness as a powerful force for change.
The HAW-AG initiative stood as a testament to PDMU XII’s commitment to amplifying goodness, one small act at a time—proving that when hands work together with purpose, hearts are inevitably touched.

Hands at Work: Amplifying Goodness
JULY 05, 2024
"Give your hands to serve and your hearts to love", said Mother Teresa.
This is the heart of the Hands at Work: Amplifying Goodness (HAW-AG) outreach program. A Project Development and Management Unit initiative involves extending hands to serve others through acts of kindness and generosity, opening our hearts to love, and showing compassion, empathy, and genuine care for those around us or a specific community.
In the Municipality of Arakan, HAW-AG extends its warm embrace to Sitio Bandihan, Brgy. San Miguel, Province of Cotabato, on July 5, 2024. Over 75 children received school supplies and colorful slippers. It was made possible with the help of the LGU Arakan and Barangay San Miguel Councils, together with the Sitio Leader of Bandihan.
The community welcomed the PDMU team with the warmest greetings and brightest smiles they could give. The second HAW-AG was filled with smiles and joy because of the games and various gimmicks, such as face painting and parlor games, organized by PDMU technical engineers from different provinces. This also includes the distribution of school supplies and slippers that children can use in their studies.
The inaugural HAW-AG took place at Sitio Dam, Brgy. Poblacion, Lake Sebu, South Cotabato, December 8, 2023. With these beautiful experiences, the team is more motivated than ever to connect with more individuals and eagerly anticipates visiting another community in the future. They are optimistic that this won't be their last endeavor.

Hands at Work: Amplifying Goodness
DECEMBER 8, 2023
Engineers and PEOs launch its first Hands at Work: Amplifying Goodness (HAW-AG) Outreach Program at Sitio Dam, Brgy. Poblacion, Lake Sebu, South Cotabato this December 8, 2023.
Eager to give hope and inspiration to others, the team decided to share what they had with the less fortunate families of Sitio Dam rather than spend it on themselves.
The team held an outreach program to the said sitio in collaboration with the locality's SK officers. The activity included song icebreakers, parlor games, intermission numbers, and, most importantly, gift-giving, instilling the Christmas Spirit in their lives.
The team is even more inspired to reach out to more people and looks forward to visiting another community in the future. With high hopes, the team believes that this will not be the last, but rather the start of a Christmas tradition that will last for years.
