By downloading, installing, or using PDFBend ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use PDFBend on Android devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use.
You may not:
Copy, modify, or distribute the app or any portion of it
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
Rent, lease, or sublicense the app to any third party
Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels on the app
Use the app in any way that violates applicable law
You agree to use PDFBend only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not use the app:
To process documents you do not have the right to access or modify
To create, distribute, or store any content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or infringing of third-party rights
In any manner that could damage, disable, or impair the app or interfere with any other user's use of their device
You are solely responsible for all files you process and for any output you create using the app.
PDFBend and all associated content, features, and functionality are owned by the developer and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the app.
Third-party libraries used by the app are subject to their own licences. A full list of open-source licences can be viewed at Settings → About → View Licenses within the app.
The app uses Google AdMob to display advertisements on Android. Your use of the app is also subject to Google's Terms of Service (https://policies.google.com/terms). We are not responsible for Google's data practices; please review their policies separately.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
The app will meet your requirements or be error-free
Any errors in the app will be corrected
PDF processing will produce results that are accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose
The app will be available at any particular time
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Loss of, corruption of, or inability to access any PDF or other document
Errors introduced into a document as a result of PDF processing
Loss of data or business interruption
arising from your use of or inability to use the app, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the app shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app (which, if the app was free, is zero).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities; in such jurisdictions the above exclusions may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the developer from and against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the app, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the app at any time, without notice, for conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
Upon termination, the rights granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease.
We may modify these Terms at any time by posting the updated version at the URL where these Terms are hosted. Your continued use of the app after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of competent jurisdiction in the developer's region.
