To provide you with our core functionalities, PDF Reader Pro requires specific Android device permissions. We strictly minimize data access to what is necessary for the app to function. Here is a detailed breakdown of the permissions we request:

• READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: (For Android 11 and below) We require this permission to read and access document files (PDF, Word, Excel, PPT) stored on your device so that you can view them within the app.

• WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: (For Android 11 and below) This permission is necessary to save changes, modify, or delete the document files on your device's external storage as per your command.

• MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: (For Android 11 and above) This permission grants broad access to device storage. It is essential for our core functionality as a file management and reading utility, allowing the app to read, write, and organize document files effectively across modern Android systems.

• POST_NOTIFICATIONS: (For Android 13 and above) Requested upon app launch (splash or main page) to send you relevant alerts, updates, and app-related status notifications.

• FOREGROUND_SERVICE & FOREGROUND_SERVICE_DATA_SYNC: Requested to maintain continuous core services and data synchronization tasks while the app is actively running or transitioning in the background, ensuring smooth and reliable operation without sudden interruptions.

2. Third-Party Services and SDKs

To maintain, analyze, and monetize our application, we integrate trusted third-party Software Development Kits (SDKs). These third parties may collect device identifiers, IP addresses, and usage data. We utilize the following services:
