Join the Band!

Please read the following information if you are interested in joining us.

• Audition: No audition is required. We welcome players of all levels.

• Students: You must be in at least 9th grade and have access to an instrument (excluding percussion). 

• Rehearsal Schedule: Rehearsals alternate between the Waldport Community Center and Siuslaw High School in Florence on Mondays @ 6:30pm-8:00pm. You may find an in-depth rehearsal schedule under the "For Members" tab.

• Music/Resources: Music is supplied for you. You will need to bring a music stand to rehearsals in Waldport. Please bring a pencil to every rehearsal!

• Band Dues: Each band member, unless they are a student, is required to pay a $50 band fee every concert season (once a year). This helps with purchasing music, performance venue fees, and general maintenance.

• Rehearsal Etiquette: The PCWE strives to maintain a professional and high achieving musical environment. This means that all players are expected to show up with their music prepared to the best of their ability, be focused, and keep conversations to a minimum.
