The Mission

Linking people to community services in West Virginia

WV 2-1-1 keeps an accurate and comprehensive database that you can use to find health and human services to meet your needs.

The database contains information about the following resources and more throughout the State.

Basic Human Needs Resources:

- food banks

- clothing closets

- shelters

- rent assistance

- utility assistance

Physical and Mental Health Resources:

- health insurance programs

- Medicaid & Medicare

- maternal health

- children's health insurance program (CHIP)

- medical information lines

- crisis intervention services

- support groups, counseling

- drug and alcohol intervention and rehabilitation

Support for Children, Youth and Families

- childcare

- after school programs

- Head Start
