General Expectations of Athletes on the PCHS Swim & Dive Team:
Maintain eligibility to participate and compete in accordance with NCHSAA, WCPSS, and PCHS guidelines.
Exemplify NCHSAA Core Values on and off the pool deck all-year long.
Meet weekly practice requirements (see team information page).
Attend and participate in meets (see meet page).
Attend team meetings and social events (as available).
Meet other expectations outlined throughout the team website.
Athletes are expected to provide their own transportation to all team functions. Athletes are encouraged to coordinate carpools amongst themselves.
Please consider your individual safety and the safety of others at practices, meets, and team functions. At meet facilities, follow all signs for athlete drop off and pick up locations. Drive slowly and carefully. If there are any concerns with the locker room or other behavior on deck or in the stadium, notify the coaching staff immediately.
Failure to NOT meet any of the expectations outlined are subject to the following consequences:
1) warning and review of expectations
2) not eligible to participate in next competition
3) not eligible to compete in Conference or Regional Championships
4) removal from team
