Every year the NC DECA district competition takes place at the Raleigh Convention center in Downtown Raleigh!

Districts will take place on December 1st, 2025

At the district level, DECA competitions are focused on roleplay events. Students are given a real-world business scenario and must act as if they are consultants or managers, providing solutions to the problems presented

Placing at districts is not mandatory in order to advance to the States CDC

Every year the NC DECA State Competition (SCDC) takes place in Greensboro, NC!

SCDC will happen on February 26- 28 2026  (Thursday - Saturday)

The North Carolina DECA Career Development Conference is one of the highlights of the DECA academic year.  Over 5,000 students, teachers, and business professionals will come together for three days of learning, competition, and recognition.  Not only will participants be able to compete, they get the chance to participate in numerous workshops and socialize with others!

This year, the DECA International Career Development Conference (ICDC) is taking place in Atlanta, GA, from April 25th to 26th, 2026!

The DECA International Career Development Conference (ICDC) is the culmination of the DECA year. More than 25,000 high school students, teacher-advisors, business professionals and alumni gather for several days of DECA excitement.
