Who is eligible for the TOP Award?
Grade School, High School and College Alumni of Pilgrim Institute/ Pilgrim Christian College
Have not been found guilty of any administrative or criminal offense involving moral turpitude; and
Have no pending administrative or criminal case at the time of the nomination.
Other Considerations
Relatives up to the third degree of the members of the Search are excluded.
Committee and Board of Trustees are excluded for nomination.
Only one member in the family can be given the award in a specific year.
Only one awardee per category will receive the award in a given year.
Who can submit a nomination?
Anyone of the following may nominate for the Search for TOP:
The church where he/she is a member.
The immediate supervisor of the nominee, whether in public or private entity.
His/her co-workers
A private person or group
A batch of alumni
NGO’s / Civic organizations
What documents are required?
One (1) nomination folder (long) containing the following documents shall be submitted:
Properly and adequately accomplished nomination form.
Information required should be complete as this will be the form to be used by the Search Committee for evaluation. A cover letter by the nominator addressed to the Chairman, Search for the TOP Committee should accompany the nomination form.
Personal Data Sheet of the nominee with passport size photo with name written on the bottom side of the picture.
Photocopies of training programs attended, awards/citations received, publications, researches, etc.
Photocopies of nominee’s clippings, news items, pictures and other documents to support the nomination.
Written testimonials of people (at least three or more) who are knowledgeable of the nominee’s achievements (church, community, and workplace)
When is the submission deadline?
Nominations must be submitted to any of the members of the Search Committee on or before August 30, 2025. Those received after this date will automatically be included for evaluation in the 2026 awards.

Pilgrim Christian College (PCC) will be celebrating its 77th Foundation Day Anniversary on November 22-29, 2025 under the leadership of President Pio D. Baconga. The PCC Administration is very much aware that a great number of PCC (formerly Pilgrim Institute) alumni have already distinguished themselves as achievers in their respective chosen callings. Hence, they should be acknowledged and recognized. Moreover, their example shall serve as inspiration of the current students to strive hard as the alumni awardees did to finish their studies. Further, parents, prospective students and other stakeholders will have a glimpse of the quality of instruction that PCC provides.
To recognize Pilgrim Christian College (including Pilgrim Institute) graduates who choose to make a difference by way of exemplary and high-quality Christian service and /or vocation /profession;
To highlight the importance of achievement and excellence in one’s work/vocation /calling;
To motivate graduates and students to continually improve the standards of their performance; and
To disseminate to stakeholders on PCC’s role in manpower capacity building and what alumni have done in community/ area development.
The Search applies to all graduates of Pilgrim Institute and Pilgrim Christian College since 1949 to present. These include graduates in grade school, high school, and college levels whether they are employed in government, NGO’s and/or have their own organization/s or business/es.

Noteworthiness of outstanding performance / contributions (25%)
Impact of performance or achievement and the extent to which the work has benefited the community, whether its effect is far-reaching and continuing. (35%)
Responsible leadership and firm Christian convictions which reflect the vision, mission, and goals of PCC. (20%)
Personal values anchored on the ideals of Christian virtues of Faith, Integrity, Responsibility, Excellence and Service (FIRES). (20%)
Exhibits interest in the affairs of the alumni and/or the school.
