How can we build a device to launch a projectile and calculate its motion in order to hit a target?

Project Summary:

Students will explore the concepts of velocity, quadratic equations, and free fall and understand the formulas involved to mathematically define these terms. Students will use this information to build an apparatus that will launch a projectile to a predetermined destination.
