Why do people form governments? How does geography influence the way people live? How do new ideas change the way people live? What makes a culture unique?

Project Summary:

In this project, students will learn about the early civilizations of Korea, Japan, and Southeast Asia. Students will act as tour guides and prepare travel itineraries for a group traveling to Korea, Japan, and Southeast Asia. Students will plan a two-week trip that will encompass the historical and geographical highlights of the region. Students will create the itineraries using a slide-show software program and present their completed itineraries to the class.
