About Us

Founded at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic and related hardships, the Pasadena Black Equity Project is a local grassroots organization that fights for the material needs of Black folks in Pasadena, California. Our current initiative is our Mutual Aid Fund, a crowdsourced fund from which we distribute stipends to those requesting assistance. 

Black residents join the line to receive funds by filling out our Request Form with the option to share their level of need.
