Within all of my work is a true commitment to the communities I work for and with. My work with Seacrest Studios in the Boston Children's Hospital is an example of my dedication to utilizing my skills to benefit communities.
As a community-driven journalist, I have a vested interest in politics and its impact on communities both on a broad and localized scale. This past presidential election season I covered developments from the New Hampshire Primaries, to the Iowa Caucuses, and the final stretch at Harris Headquarters for their election night watch-party.
The arts bring such a unique perspective to community-building, and Boston Calling is a directly beneficial part of that. The festival brings together headlining artists like Megan Thee Stallion and Noah Kahan to share the stage with local New England & Boston-based bands. I have covered the festival for two years in a row.

WEBN-TV Boston's "Road to the White House" newscast is a culmination of our 2024 Iowa Caucus coverage and received a New England Regional NATAS Award for the COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY-PUBLIC AFFAIRS/COMMUNITY SERVICE category. This newscast aired on March 1st, 2024.
Keene State College students turned out to vote in the 2024 New Hampshire Primary with school-provided shuttle bus transportation. I covered the story which aired on February 2nd, 2024.
Students, survivors, activists, congressmen & women, and grieving parents spoke out on the National Mall on Friday, March 24th, 2023, to demand action and call for S.25, an assault weapons ban. Many spoke including, but not limited to, Jackson Mittleman, Jordan Gomes, Brett Cross, Patricia and Manny Oliver, Representative Maxwell Frost, and Representative Nancy Pelosi. The rally partnered with Change the Ref & the Newtown Action Alliance. I covered the story which aired in April, 2023.

Beyond the Headlines, was my final project for the Emerson College senior CAPSTONE course. I executive-produced this special, which surrounds the topic of how the media covers instances of gun violence, and how we can shift to better practices in order to foster trust with communities. Through conversations with journalists about how their focus is shifting, and communities who have been deeply impacted by this issue, Beyond the Headlines confronts the realities of a changing landscape, and how intentional and empathetic reporting impacts communities in a positive way.
This newscast seeks to convey the long-lasting weight these tragedies can have on communities and the importance of sticking with them far after they’re making national headlines, allowing those affected to continue to tell their stories.
I co-executive-produced and technical directed this special edition live holiday show for WEBN-TV Boston. The live holiday show is now an annual event for the organization, and this show received an honorable mention in the College/University Light News Report category for the 2024 New England Regional NATAS Awards.
