I'm a community-driven broadcast journalist from Troy, New Hampshire, studying at Emerson College. I’m a journalism major with dual minors in Photography and Peace & Social Justice, graduating in May of 2025. As a first-generation college student and proud recipient of the Al Sprague Memorial Scholarship through the New Hampshire Association of Broadcasters, I am deeply committed to my academic and professional growth.
My passion for community journalism was sparked growing up in a small town in New Hampshire. It was there that I first realized the power of storytelling to connect and uplift people. This passion drives me to create content that informs, empowers, and strengthens communities.
At Emerson, I've held several leadership roles at WEBN, the student-run broadcast news organization. As News Director, I directed and technical directed a variety of shows using Ross Overdrive, overseeing news, entertainment, politics, and sports coverage. I’ve reported extensively on both local and national politics, including traveling to Des Moines, Iowa for the 2024 Iowa Caucuses and to Washington, D.C. to cover the 2024 Presidential Election from Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign headquarters. In recognition of my reporting, I received a NATAS Award for my student reporter reel at the 2024 New England Emmy Awards.
I’ve contributed as a Staff Photographer, Writer, and Radio Host for Emerson’s independent radio station, WECB, covering the Boston music scene and major festivals like Boston Calling, where I covered artists such as Noah Kahan, Chappell Roan, and Megan Thee Stallion. I also host and executive produce Beantown Underground, a show I curated to spotlight Boston’s local music scene.
I'm a former intern of Seacrest Studios at Boston Children’s Hospital, where I curated programming for the children in treatment. The patients at BCH taught me invaluable lessons about the importance of authenticity and how being true to yourself can foster trust and comfort with your audience—skills that I carry into all my work.
Most recently, I completed a semester in Washington, D.C., interning with Border Crossings at Voice of America. In this role, I interviewed over 20 musicians, produced global news content, and even hosted the show, reaching an audience of 354 million people across 100+ countries. I also contributed to VOA60 World, a daily segment summarizing the top international news stories.
I am a dedicated, creative, and empathetic journalist who is always eager to learn and grow. I’m excited to see where my career path leads next!
In June of 2024, I was so grateful to receive a New England Regional NATAS Award for College/University Talent in News! It is truly an immense honor to have received such a well-esteemed award this early in my journalism career.
