Welcome to the PayPal Community! I'm sorry to hear you've run into some road-blocks downloading your statements. Have you tried downloading your statements through a desktop / laptop instead of on a mobile device? Also, I dug up the following Help Center article you may find useful if you need to go further back: How do I view and download statements and reports?

To answer your question, yes the screenshots I posted are from a desktop browser, not a mobile device. (Was there really any doubt? Or are you just following a script?)

I posted screenshots showing credit card statements listed and available for downloading but some of the links to them do NOT work.

Paypal Statement Download Not Working

Prior to the update, statements were available only for accounts that opted into online paperless statements. After the upgrade, lo and behold there are some statements even for accounts like mine that have paper statements. But none of the links to statements for June 2022 and before work.

WHY NOT?

Hello @NelloLucchesi, thanks for clarifying the statements you're trying to download are from your PayPal Cashback Mastercard. I would recommend reaching out to the Customer Service number on the back of your card for assistance. They will be better equipped to guide you through downloading your card statements.

I opened my PayPal Cashback World Mastercard in August.

The statements/2022-09-14 was downloadable for me (kept working fine between Sept 18th and Oct 21st).

The statements/2022-10-14 resulted in "Something went wrong" page (tried 5 browsers on Oct 21st, at same time the September link kept working fine).

The statements/2022-11-14 resulted in "Something went wrong" page, and as of today (Nov 18th) the September link stopped working too - so none of 3 statements work anymore :(

Called support line (it connects to synchrony bank - NOT to paypal/portal team) and they said they'll leave a note to portal devs... But given it impacts everyone for at least 5 weeks with no resolution/rollback of their backend - unlikely for PayPal&SynchronyBank to fix it till 2023...

So, here we are three months later. This download of the PDF statement fails nearly every time. I have been trying to download 5 months of PDF statements for the past week. So far, I've gotten 2 to actually download and not give the same error as above.

for me it fails for EVERY month/statement I try, and it fails EVERY time I try to download (despite more than 20 attempts for each and many browsers), in other words the problem is CONSTANT for me and NOT intermittent

Hi there, I need to be able to print out a working capital loan statement for the end of the financial year for tax and accounting purposes, that shows the outstanding amount of the loan. I can't find anywhere where a running statement is with in the web site or where I can select a date range and print a report - like I can within REPORTS in my general PayPal account. thanks

It seems that this feature is so new that no one at paypal has managed to handle this. I've been clicking everything, searching everywhere, gathering as much help as I can and it looks like it doesn't exist. Either that or they have intentionally made it so difficult that even a tech savvy individual like myself cannot figure it out.

Monthly statements and custom statements are bank-like summaries designed to meet merchant reconciliation needs, such as verifying PayPal debits and credits, consistent with company internal accounting records of transactions for that month.

The statements only report balance-affecting transactions that debit or credit to your PayPal account. Therefore, they don't include any pending transactions such as authorizations not captured, pending e-checks, or unresolved disputes.

Each statement summarizes data from the date range specified, from 00:00:00 AM on the starting day of the date range to 23:59:59 PM on the last day of the date range. If the requested date range of a custom statement includes the current day, transaction and summary information is included as of the time stated on the webpage. You can configure the time zone from the Account Properties section on your reporting portal. Updating the time zone only affects statements generated after the change.

After requesting a statement, the row in the table automatically shows In progress. When the report is ready to download, the statement status automatically changes to Download. For custom statements, you can select Refresh after 2 minutes to check if the report is available to download.

Beneath the Activity Summary section of the statement, totals display for each Category and SubCategories for which there were transactions. To determine which transactions are within each SubCategory, refer to the T-Code Descriptions that are within that SubCategory of the Category. For more details, see Transaction event code (T-code) reference.

A chart of transaction history displays in the PDF if there are 10,000 or fewer transactions within the date range. If there are more than 10,000, total transactions, the PDF doesn't display any transactions. For monthly statements, all transactions display regardless of the number of transactions for merchants in these countries: AU, DE, ES, FR, GB, and IT.

Monthly statements in some countries automatically generate by the 10th of each month. The MIF section doesn't include statements downloaded before the auto-generation. In this case, the Download link refreshwa to provide a new PDF that includes MIF details by the 10th of the month.

A statement CSV file can contain a maximum of 150,000 records. If the report contains more than 150,000 records, the report splits across multiple files and compiles into a ZIP file. Only the file with the first 150,000 records has column names.

No, there is no fee to add money to your Amex Send Account. When you add money to your Send Account, it will appear as a charge on your American Express Card billing statement. The charge is subject to the APR for purchases, just like other purchases on your Card Account based on the terms of your Card Member Agreement. This is not a cash advance. The charge to your Card does not earn any rewards.

After you send money from your Send Account, you will see the transactions within the Send tab. You will also see the transactions in your Venmo or PayPal account. Please know that you will receive a periodic statement via email with your Send Account activity.

You can track all of your split purchases, outstanding requests, cancelled requests, declined requests, and any money you received (accepted requests), within the Split tab of Send & Split:Venmo/PayPal. If you chose to get paid back to your Card Account, we will notify you when a request is accepted, update the status to Received, and apply a statement credit to your Card Account that will post within 24-36 hours.

The statement credit on your Card Account will display as Amex Split and include the name and/or email address or phone number of the contact that paid you back and the name of the merchant for the purchase that you split.

Is it ok to show my PayPal statement along with my bank statements when I apply for a Schengen visa? I am a freelancer and I get a lot of income from PayPal. I am wondering if it would be of help if I also print my PayPal statement when applying to the embassy?

I hope you realize that printing paypal statements yourself is not evidence of anything. You could have printed into a file, edited that, and sent it to a printer afterwards. However, they might explain your financial situation.

In the days since we launched our consumer-focused giving campaigns, our customers have donated over three million dollars to international relief charities providing humanitarian aid within Ukraine and refugee support. These relief organizations include the International Rescue Committee (IRC), UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Direct Relief, Save the Children and many others working on the ground in Ukraine and with refugees in surrounding nations. Our giving campaigns are now actively raising humanitarian relief funds from donors in the U.S., Canada, Australia, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Ireland and Italy. We will continue to make our campaigns available to other countries in the coming days, including Spain, Netherlands and Poland.

I appreciate you trying to help but what you have basically provided here are steps on HOW to reconcile. I understand how to reconcile and this is the first time I have done so on this account so there is not reconcile history to review. The starting balance is correct as shown on the statement, so I should be able to simply select ALL transactions on this account and have a $0.00 discrepancy because I have not entered any transactions manually. The issue is that Quickbooks and PayPal are not functioning properly with another another and it needs to get fixed. The import was stupidly long and it didn't bring all records over properly. I verified that all transactions on Quickbooks are accounted for on my statement and I highlighted and manually added the transactions that Quickbooks was missing which my statement showed. I had no uncleared checks, so that isn't an issue. Even after adding these other transactions in, it still is off. I'm going to need to look over the register because the first PayPal import attempt got messed up (only bringing 1 month) so I had to re-do the import. I checked for accidental duplicates but didn't see any but this is still not working properly. The second time PayPal brought the records in, it did it totally differently (combining PayPal sales and fees into split transactions which it didn't do the first time I tried the import. I'm just incredibly frustrated at this point. I'm going to have to go back through thousands of transactions from January to iron this garbage out. So far no impressed at all. ff782bc1db
