We recommend feeding 3–4% of your dog’s body weight per day as a general guideline. Adjust based on your dog’s age, activity level, and body condition:
Puppy (up to 1 year old): Add +1.5%
Active adult: Add +0.5%
Chubby/Overweight: Subtract -0.5%
Underweight: Add +0.5%
Every dog is unique. Factors such as breed, age, activity level, metabolism, and overall health can greatly affect your dog’s nutritional needs. The percentages provided are general guidelines and should be used as a starting point—not a strict rule.
We strongly recommend that you observe your dog’s body condition, energy levels, and weight regularly. Adjust portions as needed to maintain a healthy weight and optimal condition. Puppies, seniors, pregnant or nursing dogs, and those with medical conditions may require special feeding plans.

Transition
Days 1–3:
75% Old Food
25% Pawty Dog Food
Start by mixing a small amount of the new food with their current food. This helps their digestive system get used to the change.
Days 4–5:
50% Old Food
50% Pawty Dog Food
Gradually increase the amount of the new food while decreasing the old food.
Days 6–7:
25% Old Food
75% Pawty Dog Food
Continue increasing the new food to further help their digestive system adjust.
Day 8 and Beyond:
100% Pawty Dog Food
By day 8, your dog should be fully transitioned to the new food. If you encounter any digestive issues, slow down the transition and continue for a few more days.
Every Dog is Unique
We understand that every dog’s tummy is different, so if you find that your dog needs more time to adjust, don’t hesitate to slow down the transition. Some dogs are more sensitive than others, and that’s okay!
