Who We Are Pawsteps (the "App") is provided by Bimsui ("we," "us").
What We Collect
Account data: email/Apple ID info (if you sign in), device identifiers.
Dog profile: name, breed, age, goals.
Activity data: walking/step and distance data from Apple HealthKit (read-only), in-app walk sessions, reminders set.
Device/usage data: app interactions, crash/diagnostic logs, and analytics events.
Purchases: subscription status/receipts (via App Store/RevenueCat if used).
How We Use Data
Provide core features: estimate dog steps from HealthKit data, show stats/history, manage reminders.
Personalize: adjust step estimates by breed and goals.
Support and safety: debugging, preventing abuse, securing the service.
Communications: send notifications/reminders you enable; service messages about your account/subscription.
Health Data (HealthKit)
We read step and walking distance data from Apple Health only after you grant permission.
We do not write data to HealthKit.
Health data is used only to power in-app features and is not used for advertising.
Sharing
Service providers (e.g., Firebase for auth/firestore, analytics, crash reporting; RevenueCat for subscriptions; Apple for notifications/Health access).
Legal/rights protection if required.
We do not sell personal data.

Data Retention
Kept while your account is active or as needed for the services/legal obligations.
You can request deletion of your account data; we'll also delete associated Health/usage data stored on our servers (HealthKit data on your device is managed by Apple).
Your Choices
Permissions: enable/disable Health access and notifications in iOS settings; adjust reminders in-app.
Access/delete: email us at Bimsui@icloud.com to request a copy or deletion of your data.
Opt-out of analytics (if offered in settings) will limit diagnostics personalization.
ChildrenThis app is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region). Please do not use the app for children under this age.InternationalData may be processed in the country where you reside and in other regions where our providers operate. We use appropriate safeguards for transfers where required.SecurityWe use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data; however, no method is 100% secure.ChangesWe'll post updates here and update the "Last updated" date.
