Paws & Plates HK helps people find food premises identified by Hong Kong's Food and Environmental Hygiene Department as permitting dogs in designated areas. This policy explains the limited information used by the app.

Location

Location access is optional. When permission is granted, your location is processed on your device to show nearby restaurants and centre the map. Paws & Plates HK does not store your location or include it in feedback submissions.

Seating-arrangement feedback

You may voluntarily report whether a restaurant permits dogs indoors or outdoors only. A submission may include the selected arrangement, restaurant name, address, district, licence number, submission time and app version. Feedback is stored using Apple CloudKit and is used to maintain and improve the app's restaurant information. The app does not ask for your name or email address when you submit feedback.

Information stored on your device

Your favourites and language preference are stored locally on your device.

Tracking and advertising

The app does not contain advertising and does not track you across apps or websites.

Third-party services and information

The app uses Apple services including MapKit, Core Location and CloudKit. Apple's handling of information is governed by Apple's privacy policy. Restaurant information is sourced from the Hong Kong Food and Environmental Hygiene Department (FEHD). Paws & Plates HK is independently operated and is not affiliated with or endorsed by FEHD.

Your choices

You can deny or withdraw location permission at any time in iPhone Settings. Submitting seating-arrangement feedback is optional. To request deletion of feedback you submitted, contact us using the address below and provide enough restaurant and submission details for us to locate it.
