PawPocket Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the PawPocket application (“PawPocket”, “the app”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By downloading, accessing, or using PawPocket, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use PawPocket.
1. Description of the App
PawPocket is a pet care and expense tracking application.
The app allows users to:
• Create and manage pet profiles
• Record pet-related expenses
• Attach receipt images or PDF files
• Create care reminders
• View expense information and statistics
• Access additional Premium features through an optional subscription
PawPocket is intended as a personal organization and record-keeping tool.
2. No Veterinary or Professional Advice
PawPocket is not a veterinary, medical, financial, accounting, legal, or professional advisory service.
Information entered into or displayed by PawPocket should not be treated as professional advice.
For medical or veterinary concerns, consult an appropriately qualified professional.
3. User Data
You are responsible for the information you enter into PawPocket.
Because PawPocket is designed to store application records locally on your device, you are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups and protecting access to your device.
You should not rely on PawPocket as the sole copy of important records.
4. Premium Subscription
PawPocket offers an optional Premium subscription.
Premium currently provides access to additional features including:
• Unlimited pet profiles
• Unlimited expense records
• Unlimited care reminders
• Unlimited receipt attachments
• Advanced spending insights
Premium access is provided through Apple's In-App Purchase system.
The available subscription period, price, and renewal terms are displayed in the purchase interface before you complete the purchase.
5. Auto-Renewable Subscription
If you purchase a Premium auto-renewable subscription, the subscription automatically renews at the end of each subscription period unless you cancel it.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
The subscription may be managed and canceled through your Apple Account's subscription settings.
If you cancel a subscription, you can generally continue to access the subscription benefits until the end of the already-paid subscription period, subject to Apple's applicable billing and subscription rules.
6. Free Version Limits
The free version of PawPocket includes usage limits.
These limits may include limits on:
• Number of pet profiles
• Number of expense records
• Number of active care reminders
• Number of receipt attachments
Premium removes the applicable limits described in the Premium offering.
7. Purchases Through Apple
All purchases and subscription transactions are processed through Apple's App Store and StoreKit.
PawPocket does not directly process your payment card or banking information.
Your purchases are also subject to Apple's applicable terms and conditions.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree to use PawPocket only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You must not attempt to:
• Reverse engineer or modify the application for unauthorized purposes
• Interfere with the operation of the application
• Circumvent technical restrictions or subscription mechanisms
• Use the application in a way that violates applicable law
9. Intellectual Property
PawPocket, including its software, interface, design, branding, graphics, and other original content, is owned by or licensed to the developer and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
These Terms do not grant you ownership of PawPocket or its underlying intellectual property.
10. Availability
We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue parts of PawPocket when reasonably necessary, including to maintain or improve the application.
We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available or that the application will be free from errors.
11. Disclaimer
PawPocket is provided as a personal organization and record-keeping application.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PawPocket is provided without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from the use of PawPocket.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
When changes are made, the “Last updated” date will be updated accordingly.
Your continued use of PawPocket after the updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
