PawPocket (“PawPocket”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a pet care and expense tracking application designed to help users manage pet profiles, expenses, receipts, and care reminders.
This Privacy Policy explains what information PawPocket handles, how it is stored and used, and what choices are available to you.
1. Information You Enter
PawPocket allows you to create and manage pet profiles and expense records.
Depending on how you use the app, this information may include:
• Pet names
• Pet species and breed
• Pet gender
• Pet date of birth or age information
• Pet weight
• Pet notes
• Expense amounts
• Expense categories
• Expense dates
• Expense notes
• Receipt images or PDF files
• Care reminder information
This information is used solely to provide the features of PawPocket.
2. Local Storage
PawPocket is designed to store your pet, expense, receipt, and reminder data locally on your device.
PawPocket does not require you to create an account or provide an email address to use the app.
We do not operate a server that receives or stores your pet records, expense records, receipts, or reminder data.
Your locally stored app data can be deleted using the data deletion functionality provided within PawPocket.
3. Photos and Files
PawPocket may allow you to attach photos or PDF files as expense receipts.
Photos are selected using Apple's system photo picker, and files are selected using Apple's system file picker.
PawPocket only accesses the photos or files that you explicitly select for use as receipt attachments.
Receipt attachments are stored locally as part of your PawPocket data.
4. Notifications
PawPocket may request permission to send local notifications for care reminders.
These reminders are scheduled locally on your device.
PawPocket does not use push notifications to collect or transmit your personal information.
You can manage notification permissions through your device's system settings.
5. Purchases and Subscriptions
PawPocket offers an optional Premium subscription through Apple's In-App Purchase system.
Payments and subscription transactions are processed by Apple through StoreKit.
PawPocket does not receive or store your payment card number, bank account information, or other payment credentials.
Subscription status is used by PawPocket only to determine whether Premium features should be available.
Your purchases are subject to Apple's applicable terms and policies.
6. Data Collection and Tracking
PawPocket does not sell your personal information.
PawPocket does not use advertising networks, analytics services, or third-party tracking services.
PawPocket does not use your information to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
PawPocket does not contain third-party advertising.
7. Third-Party Services
PawPocket uses Apple's system services and StoreKit for functionality such as:
• In-App Purchases and subscriptions
• Photo selection
• File selection
• Local notifications
These services are provided by Apple and may be subject to Apple's own privacy policies and terms.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
Your pet, expense, receipt, and reminder records remain stored locally on your device until you delete them or remove the app.
PawPocket provides a Delete All Data function that allows you to delete the locally stored PawPocket records and associated scheduled local notifications.
Deleting the app from your device also removes its locally stored application data, subject to Apple's operating-system behavior and backups.
9. Children's Privacy
PawPocket is not specifically directed toward children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Security
PawPocket is designed to keep your application records stored locally on your device.
You are responsible for maintaining appropriate security for your device, including using the security features provided by your operating system.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to PawPocket, applicable requirements, or our privacy practices.
When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
