Pinggang Pinoy is a visual food guide developed by the Department of Science and Technology Food and Nutrition Research Institute (DOST-FNRI) of the Philippines. It helps Filipinos understand how to proportion meals for a balanced diet by using an easy-to-understand plate model. The Pinggang Pinoy consists of glow foods (fruits and vegetables), grow foods (proteins), go foods (carbohydrates), and a glass of water.
