Workbook

This project consists of three parts. The first paper published in the International Review of Economics Education (IREE version | SSRN version) provides a summary of the models covered in the workbook [workbook.xls]. Macros have to be enabled for the workbook to operate. The questionnaire [qnaire.pdf] provides additional discussion material. The technical appendix [techapp2.pdf] provides derivations of formulas for the schedules and impulse responses. The second paper titled “Liquidity Trap in an Inflation-targeting Framework: A Graphical Analysis” (IREE version | SSRN Version) is also published in the IREE. The third paper titled "Myopia, Discretion, and Commitment in a Two-Period AS/AD Model" (SSRN Version) is published in the Southern Journal of Economics.
