Guitar player, singer,songwriter, film maker - I suppose "Renaissance Man" is the expression. More strings to his bow than the London Symphony Orchestra.
Sadly underestimated local musician and songwriter. Great voice, great ears. If he'd been in the right place at the right time, he could have been a contender! The human jukebox.
A great venue - the main room is perfect for big events, and the theatre is exactly the kind of room that musicians love. Great sound, perfect size ...a proper theatre!
The biggest indoor World Music Festival. In my opinion, a great event, but only the icing on the cake of an organization which aims to promote and protect all areas of music. They deserve credit for keeping musicians employed, venues used, children educated in music, and for battling against a system which undervalues the importance of music to a worrying degree. Rant over!!!
