I am a member of a few large collaborations working to detect and characterize gravitational waves:
North American Nanohertz Observatory for Gravitational waves -- NANOGrav
The International Pulsar Timing Array -- IPTA
I used to be a member of the LIGO Scientific Collaboration
Laser Interferometer Gravitational wave Observatory -- LIGO

I currently work a Widener University.
I was a postdoctoral fellow at the Center for Gravitational Waves and Cosmology at WVU.
I previously taught as a visiting assistant professor at SUNY Geneseo.
I went to school at Reed College and then Montana State University. Some of my old colleagues are members of MSU's eXtreme Gravity Institute.
The photo was taken on a cross country ski in Letchworth State Park in western NY. It is looking up from below the old train trellis, which crossed the Genesee River at the south end of the park. This bridge stood from 1875 until 2017, when it was removed and replaced.
