The goal is to design a device capable of carrying a load of at least 100 lbf up a flight of stairs by exerting a force of no more than 25 lbf. The device should only be operated by one person and it can only move one step at a time.
The team was composed of seven engineering students.

FEA of PVC pipe with anticipated force of 12.5 lbf. The pipe experiences a max stress of 57.9 psi
FEA of wall with anticipated force of 60 lbf. Looking at the hole where the wheel is attached via a bolt, the max stress the hole experiences is 50.3 psi.
FEA of the tensile stress of the wheel hole on the wall of the main box. The max stress that the hole experiences is 73.1 psi.
