I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), where I am also a core faculty member of the Graduate Program in Economics. I serve as Director of NEDLab, a research group focused on nonlinear economic dynamics.
My research is in macroeconomics, mathematical economics, and nonlinear dynamics, with a particular interest in how financial frictions, heterogeneity, expectations, state dependence, and feedback mechanisms affect aggregate fluctuations, instability, and regime change. Most of my work is theoretical, combining recursive methods, nonlinear dynamic models, and computational tools to study problems in macroeconomics and macro-finance.
