I am a Brazilian who embraced life with a light-hearted and joyful approach. You can easily mark me as an outgoing and fun person. The sky is the limit if we start a good conversation about economics or any other exciting topic. A typical scene is me trying to pet random animals on the streets or looking for good restaurants.

For me, economics and mathematics are beautiful ways to express my creativity in a practical and impactful manner for society. Interestingly, my passion for mathematics blossomed during many difficulties since part of my primary education before college was challenging due to the lack of mathematics teachers in public schools in my region. Today, I consider myself closer to mathematics despite loving economics. Although my work focuses on mathematical modeling, topics connected to sociology, philosophy, and political science are in my interest zone. By interconnecting economics with those topics, I can build bridges with numerous brilliant minds who always have valuable lessons to impart.

Beyond academia, I have journeyed as a professional musician, which was a demanding yet rewarding experience. Despite the lack of time, my passion for music remains unwavering, and I still devote some time to playing my guitar and singing as a cherished hobby.
