Paulo Medeiros

Hey! I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN). 

My research is in macroeconomics and mathematics, with particular interests in macro-financial dynamics, nonlinear systems, and recursive methods in dynamic economics. I study how financial frictions, heterogeneity, and state dependence shape aggregate dynamics, instability, and regime change. My work is primarily theoretical and seeks to combine mathematical rigor with economically substantive questions.
