2.- Non-formal education students with the purpose of socializing and improving their digital skills or enhancing their English language competence.

3.- Preparation for the student's admission test to university for those students over the age of 25.

4.- Preparation for the student's admission test to vocational training cycles.

5.- Preparation for the admission test that enables students to obtain their Spanish nationality.

3.- Our Projects

CEPA Paulo Freire's management and teaching teams are aware that the educational offer must be:

We train adults with a critical spirit and with the possibility of contributing to the improvement of their  employability.

In order to implement all these projects we have created and reorganized spaces facilitating the implementation of active methodologies in the classroom and the implementation of subject classrooms, laboratories or auditoriums.

The involvement of teachers is key so that the center can lead its efforts to improve adult education and motivate students by lowering the dropout rate.

At the moment, we are working on the implementation of innovation projects: STEMadrid, Erasmus+ and Xcelence, offering educational and professional guidance.

Erasmus+ Projects. Internationalization is increasingly important both in the academic and professional fields. We are a Erasmus+ Accredited institution in the field of adult education. Erasmus accreditation is a tool for education and training organizations in adult education to open up to cross-border exchange and cooperation. Our award of the Erasmus accreditation confirms that CEPA Paulo Freire, being an applicant, has set up a plan to implement high quality mobility activities as part of a wider effort to develop its organization.

In the six Erasmus + projects carried out since 2017, a total of 108 people, 45 students from our center have participated in mobilities between youth exchanges, strategic alliances and training projects to improve the professional qualification of teachers in Secondary Education for Adults. Sardinia, Portugal, Slovenia, Finland, Estonia, are some of the destinations that students and teachers have been able to visit and take courses, learning by observation and living with other students with the same interests and concerns.

STEMadrid: Being part of the network of STEMadrid centers, an initiative of the Ministry of Education that began in 2017, allows us to stimulate the curiosity of adult students towards science, technology and mathematics, help students to make a critical use of information, strengthen collaborative work through group projects and practices in science subjects, and above all ensure the inclusion of all students, especially our adult students and their daughters in the field of science and technology. For this we have the mentoring of the Ministry of Education, the collaboration of foundations and programs such as Inspiring girls.

Xcelence: Educational orientation. Academic and professional orientation is an important part of the work we do at CEPA, many students come to the center from previous school failure, from a foreign educational system or the old EGB. From the Guidance department, access mechanisms are offered to different organizations, advising them on decision-making and the search for academic and professional opportunities, activities that lead to the psychosocial well-being of our students and teachers are promoted, motivating the study and fighting against it. school dropout, diagnosing the needs of our students and applying personalized teaching. For this we have a full-time counselor who, in addition to his teaching tasks, attends individual and group sessions, gives workshops, provides personalized attention to students with learning problems, diagnoses specific cases, and designs improvement and follow-up plans. It also keeps the OrientAdultos website updated. This project, OrientAdultos, was born with the idea of providing information on professional and training opportunities in our environment.

Reading Plan. Our goal is not only to improve the reading comprehension of our students, to promote a taste for reading among students, as a source of information, entertainment and personal enrichment in all areas of life We have a library, we are an exchange point for books bookcrossing .org, we promote reading from a transversal approach, we participate in a reading-aloud and story-writing contest and we have a digital school newspaper La Gacepa where students publish their literary creations and reviews.

Several collaborations and awards support the teaching team's commitment to achieving the quality teaching we are looking for.

Our needs at the centre level are:

• Improve formal education, providing our students with tools to promote problem solving and critical reflection aimed at an entrepreneurial attitude so that potential students are attracted and thus we can expand the educational offer.

• Make the student the protagonist of their learning through active methodologies, the use of ICT and collaborative work in the classroom that helps them to optimize their capacities for personal development and social inclusion.

• Promote inclusive and healthy learning to endow our students with skills and attitudes that help them raise their intercultural understanding.

• Offer courses, activities and methods that help lighten premature abandonment of students due to lack of motivation, thus allowing the success of all students from the academic spectrum, including students of migrant origin.

• Promote entrepreneurial activities and career guidance.

• Expand the offer of activities that develop digital competence, improving our digital platforms and making them more versatile for students and teachers.

• Promote STEM learning in a more modern, dynamic and international school environment.

• Increase the presence of the centre on the internet and social networks.
