"Students will create a final, deliverable logo, using vector drawing software, complete with color variations. The final logo must be based on a comprehensive drawing."
The logo is titled PDLR, the initials of the creator's name. (P aulino - D e - L a - R osa) The logo itself reflects those initials, with the top-right angle and the left angle composing the 'P' and 'D', the 'L' being the left angle only, and lastly the 'R' being composed of essentially all angles.

"Students will refine their usage of page layout using Adobe InDesign. You will create a 3 page spread about a tradition that involves food from your culture. The spread will include an artful title page, a brief synopsis of the tradition and how food relates to it as well as two pages for the recipe and instructions. The design should use all of the principles of design, especially contrast and alignment. Design to fit the look of a high-end gourmet food magazine."
