GRAPHIC DESIGN: I

"Students will refine their usage of page layout using Adobe InDesign. You will create a 3 page spread about a tradition that involves food from your culture. The spread will include an artful title page, a brief synopsis of the tradition and how food relates to it as well as two pages for the recipe and instructions. The design should use all of the principles of design, especially contrast and alignment. Design to fit the look of a high-end gourmet food magazine."

"Students will synthesize prior knowledge of design principles and Adobe InDesign to create a 24-page book about the art and history of an assigned artist."
