Paul Favret was the CEO and founder of Source Energy Partners, a Denver-based exploration and production corporation focused on high-impact resource possibilities in Colombia (presently LaLuna Resources), Europe, and the United States.

Mr. Favret's education was a critical step in establishing his illustrious career. Mr. Favret holds a B.S. from Western Carolina University, summa cum laude, magna cum laude in Geology and Geophysics from the University of South Carolina, summa cum laude, and an M.B.A. from the University of Houston, summa cum laude.

His career as a well-known name is expansive. He successfully acquired over 115,000 acres and is interested in more than 384 additional wells past business purchases as the former CEO and creator of Resource Energy. With his work at Aspect, a Denver-based exploration, and production company, several successful international projects were accomplished in Hungary (built to 12.000 BOE/D), Peru (subsequently sold to Perence for $753-M), Belize, & Kurdistan.

Beyond the energy career, Mr. Favret and his wife are ardent supporters of scouting and its values. They have two boys, both of whom have earned the title of Eagle Scout. Mr. Favret is hugely passionate about education and its importance to individuals and society. He has dedicated his philanthropic efforts to educational causes for poor children in Denver County, Colorado.
