The Mighty Patriot Marching Band is perhaps the most visible and widely recognized musical ensemble in the AHS Music Department. This dedicated and enthusiastic group performs a high-powered field show during halftime of all AHS home varsity football games, as well as at select away games. In addition, the band performs at several school functions and local parades.

The Mighty Marching Patriot Band holds summer rehearsals beginning in mid-July and a mandatory Band Camp every August, one week before school begins.

All marching patriots must be enrolled in an AHS Curricular ensemble - Beginning Band, Symphonic Band, or Chorus - in order to participate in Marching Band.
