Patrick Moran
Welcome
I'm an Economist at the Federal Reserve Board. My research interests are in macroeconomics, household finance, and applied microeconomics. I'm especially interested in theories of household behavior with implications for macroeconomics, inequality, and public policy.
I previously worked as an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Copenhagen. I continue to teach as an External Lecturer at the University of Copenhagen, where I teach graduate coursework on Heterogeneous Agent Macro Models. I'm also a Research Associate at the Center for Economic Behavior and Inequality (CEBI) in Copenhagen and the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS) in London. I completed my PhD in Economics at the University of Oxford, during which time I was a visiting student at Yale University and a visiting scholar at the IFS.
