Information Literacy

Information literacy is the ability of an individual to find relevant information online, evaluate and use and communicate it in the  right way.

 Teachers need to educate learners how to find relevant information online and how to use it efficiently. Explain to them how to recognise false information in the media and let them be aware of the consequences of sharing false information on social media. Concerning assignments, show learners good websides of sources to find relevant information that will  relate with what they are being assessed about. Learners who are more informational literate has the ability to succeed academically as they will be able to conduct researches efficiently and effectively with the correct information they find online.
