Cyberbullying

Cyberbullying is a type of bullying that occurs online, it is whereby one or more individuals use digital technologies  and media with the intention of causing harm to another person. 

Social media is the main major factor in the cause of cyberbullying reason being , bullies on social media feel powerful because they  are able to hide their identity and freely abuse anyone anyhow they like.As a teacher , some of your learners might face the issue of cyberbullying ,by means , you need to educate them on how to avoid such. This can be done by advising learners to use media in the right way ,by thinking deep before they post anything, them keeping their most personal information that is more revealing private. Teachers need to encourage learners to speak up if ever they are being bullied online.  Advice leaners to seek proffessional help if necessary.
