Patricia Kwakye-Boateng | Sustainable Cooling & Adsorption Systems| Mechanical Engineering Lecturer & PhD Researcher | STEM Outreach Advocate.
Welcome — I’m Patricia Kwakye-Boateng, a Mechanical Engineering Lecturer and PhD Researcher in sustainable cooling, adsorption systems, and low-grade heat technologies based in Ghana.
My work sits at the intersection of engineering, energy efficiency, and environmental responsibility, with a focus on developing practical solutions for hot-climate and resource-constrained contexts.
Beyond research and teaching, I am deeply committed to STEM education and community engagement. Through initiatives such as ASHRAE Ghana Student Activities, school outreach programmes, and AkuaBa STEM Girls, I work to inspire young people—especially girls—to see themselves as future engineers, scientists, and innovators.
This site brings together my academic work, publications, teaching, and outreach activities. I welcome collaboration in research, supervision, invited talks, and STEM partnerships.
