What to Expect from my Cancer Care Review
If you have been recently diagnosed with cancer you should be contacted by your local GP surgery to have a cancer care review, this is an opportunity to discuss your cancer, how it has affected you and allow trained staff to help highlight any unmet needs. It will signpost you to local support and services if needed, and will allow further support to be offered.
It should take place initially at 3 months of diagnosis and then at 1 year. further support will be made available if it is needed
