I am a Visiting Professor at INSEAD while on leave from the University of Toronto and Research Member of the European Corporate Governance Institute. My primary research interests are in empirical corporate finance, which focus on some of the intersections between law, politics, and corporate finance.  I have some newer research projects that venture into empirical asset pricing topics.
