Mio's Journey is an endless-runner game, in which the player character is Mio the cat, an inventor kidnapped by the Rat army to build the weapon for them. In this game, player can move the character around the screen, moving left and right and flying upward. Player also have limited ability to shoot bullet.each obstacle come with unique property such as speed, movement and health.

Player can also collect eData(Collectible item) to purchase additional skin and upgrade to help make the game easier. Some skin give player extra ability such as increased eData(Collectible item) received.

The game mixes obstacle course elements with shooter element, and will mixes the rhythm between two during the game play
