I am a professor of Semitic languages. My main professional areas of interest are syntactic change, language contact, and historical linguistics. I studied at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem under Gideon Goldenberg and at Harvard University under John Huehnergard. I teach at the University of Texas, Austin.
