About the Challenge

Earth Day 2021 has come and gone....but shouldn’t every day be Earth Day?! We must take care of the limited resources we have, and everyone’s help is needed! What can YOU do to make a difference?

Who?

If you are an MUSD student or a student (grades TK - High School) who lives in the City of Martinez, you can participate in our Passport to Earth Day Program!

What?

Sign up for the chance to play and earn stamps for (mostly) eco-prizes. And the BEST part? While having fun, you will learn more about why protecting our resources matters as well as how to help make our planet a better place to live. Your efforts to learn and make a difference today, will affect all of our tomorrows!

When?

Each week until May 31st, we will release a suitcase filled with NEW activities that you can do to earn stamps on your virtual passport - so make sure you check back each week for new opportunities! The more activities you do, the more stamps you will earn! The more stamps you have, the more prizes you will receive! (Passport Tip: Look under FAQ to find out the quickest way to earn stamps in your passport!)

How?

Once you have completed a few activities from one of the suitcases, please allow a few days for the stamps to appear on your "virtual passport" also known as the LEADERBOARD. Look for your avatar and username to see how many stamps you have earned. You will need a minimum of 7 stamps for each adventure to earn a prize. Once you meet the minimum number of stamps, there will be a link in the same row as your avatar that says, "I want to redeem my prize!" This link will allow you to select the prize of your choice that will be mailed to you. You must earn your own stamps. If you click on someone else's prize link and you haven't earned your stamps yet, you will not be eligible for that prize. There are many different activities in each week of adventures and 5 levels of prizes...you could earn a prize a week! You will not lose your stamps if you redeem them for a prize. You can continue to add stamps to your passport so that you can reach the different prize levels.

You can do the adventures at your own pace, but prizes are first come, first served - while supplies last.

All entries must be completed by May 30th, 2021 in order to receive prizes.
