Q: Is this program free?
A: Yes! This program is exclusively for students (grades TK - High School) who live in Martinez or go to school in the Martinez Unified School District (MUSD).
Q: When does the Passport to Earth Day end?
A: The last day to play is May 30th, 2021. All participants must select their prizes by 11:59 pm in order to receive their prize.
Q: What happens if I can't remember my username that I signed up for?
A: Click on "Contact Us" at the top right of the webpage and let us know your first and last name and what school you attend and we will send you an email with the username listed on our database.
Q: I did several activities and got 100%. It's been over 3 days and I still do not see stamps on my passport?
A: Please make sure you are using the username that you registered for. You will not earn any stamps if your username is different from what is on the registration form. You may re-submit any of the activities with your designated username to earn stamps again OR send us an email explaining your situation. In your email, you must include your designated username and the name you used for submitting quizzes and/or photos.
Q: I did an activity Friday night and waited 2 days and still do not see my stamps?
A: Any activities you participate in from 3 pm Friday through Sunday 11:59 pm will not show stamps on the leaderboard until Monday afternoon.
Q: I can't remember which activities I played already. How can I tell?
A: Unfortunately, there is no way to look that up, but you are welcome to click on "Contact Us" at the top right of the web page to send us an email asking us if you are missing stamps for a particular adventure week.
Q: Will I earn extra stamps if I keep playing/doing the same activities?
A: No, unfortunately you will not be able to earn more stamps for multiple plays.
Q: I was not able to register at the very beginning of the passport game. Do I have to start with Week #1 Adventures?
A: If you happen to start a few weeks into the new releases, you may begin at any previously released adventure, but please know, the number of stamps you earn will determine your prize level.
Q: I completed the activities required, but I don't see my stamps!
A: Please allow 2 days before contacting us. We do need time to make sure all answers are correct before stamps are issued.
Q: What’s the easiest and quickest way to earn stamps?
A: If you watch both videos and take both Turbo Quizzes, then you will only need to do 1 additional activity to fulfill your prize level.
Q: What happens if I select a prize and there is no more?
A: You will receive an email with your other choices if your selected item is no longer available.
Q: I earned and selected the prize that I want. How soon will I receive it?
A: Please allow at least 10 business days before contacting us if you have not received your prize. Please note, once your prize has been mailed, New Leaf Collaborative and the City of Martinez is not responsible for lost mail.
Q: I need my prize to be mailed to a different location. How do I go about that?
A: When registering, please use the address you want your prizes to be sent to, if it changes, please go to “Contact Us” at the top of this website. However, if your prize has already been mailed, New Leaf Collaborative and the City of Martinez is not responsible for lost mail.
Q: How many times can I play turbo quiz or answer any questions if I keep getting the wrong answer?
A: You may take the turbo quiz or answer any questions as many times as you like until you get the answer(s) correct. But you will only earn stamps one time for the correct answer(s). No additional stamps can be earned for multiple correct plays.
Q: How many times can I submit a photo or answer a question under the week of “activities” if I keep getting the wrong answer?
A: You may re-submit your answer to any of the questions as many times as you like until you get the answer correct. You will only earn stamps one time for the correct answer. No additional stamps can be earned for multiple correct submissions.
Q: When will all my stamps be finalized, especially if I wait to play at the last minute?
A: All participants will have their stamps finalized by June 1st at 5 pm and all prizes will go out by June 4th. If there are any problems with the shipment of prizes, we will contact you by email.
Q: The prize that I got doesn't look like the one on the prize page.
A: Prizes are subject to change depending on availability. We will send you as close to the original prize as possible.
