🖼 Photo Processing

- Photo processing happens entirely on your device

- Country-specific cropping, background adjustment, and sizing are applied based on official photo guidelines

- All processing uses Apple's built-in frameworks — no photos or personal data are sent to external servers

🧠 Face Data

Passport Photo Creator ID uses Apple's Vision framework (VNDetectFaceRectanglesRequest and VNDetectFaceLandmarksRequest) to detect face position within your photo. This detection runs entirely on your device.

The app collects face bounding box coordinates and facial landmark positions (eyes, chin) as normalized numerical values. This data is used solely to:

- Validate that your photo meets country-specific passport requirements (head height percentage, eye line position)

- Automatically crop and position the photo to meet official specifications

**Face coordinate data is never stored to disk, never transmitted to any server, and never shared with any third party.** It exists only in temporary device memory during your active editing session and is permanently discarded when the session ends.

No biometric templates, face recognition data, or face embeddings are created at any time. The app does not perform face recognition or identification of any kind.

📱 On-Device Processing

All photo processing — including face detection, background removal, and image cropping — occurs entirely on your device using Apple's built-in frameworks (Vision, Core Image). No photos or personal data are uploaded to any server or shared with any third party.

**Passport Picture – Photo ID does not use any third-party AI service.** Background removal and face detection are powered exclusively by Apple's on-device Vision framework. No image data leaves your device during processing.

We use trusted third-party services to support:

- Subscriptions and in-app purchases

These services may have access to limited data required to perform their function.

**RevenueCat** is used solely to manage in-app subscriptions. RevenueCat receives only the transaction data required to validate purchases (anonymous device identifier and purchase receipt). No photos, face data, or personal identifying information are shared with RevenueCat.

You may delete any locally stored data at any time:

- Deleting the app removes all locally stored photos and generated images

- Subscription-related data can be managed through your Apple ID settings or by contacting us directly

Because all photo and face data is stored locally on your device, uninstalling the app removes all associated data.

We use industry-standard security practices, including encryption and secure communication protocols, to protect transmitted data such as subscription verification.

However, no method of transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain only the minimum data necessary to operate the Service:

- Generated photos remain on your device until deleted by you

- Face coordinate data is not persisted — it exists only in temporary memory during an active editing session and is discarded when the session ends
